Review Time!

Who listens to music while they are running? Walking? or Even cleaning the house?? I may not all the time but certainly love to do it! I have some great earphones for you. Wireless Earphones! Even better!

Super excited to give them a try. Got the box open, which is a super nice display by the way. A little tricky to get the top part out but I managed ;) 

And was ready to go :) I have used these types before...so I got them out of the box, tried to turn them on....and nothing....so I get out the instructions...really helps if you read them first LOL.... they needed to be charged at least three hours before first use....oops! 

Got the charger and plugged them into the computer! 

Now we are ready to go! But the do not operate like the others that I have used so I did read through the instructions first and we were all set. I was able to pair them with my iphone and my desktop computer! 

Which is great because I like to watch some shows on the computer but then I am stuck..can't even go through a piece of trash away....without pausing, taking out the earphones, coming back...any way you get it. Now, I can get up run to the kitchen and still hear the computer without missing a beat! 

I am definitely impressed with them. They come with three sizes of ear buds. I started with the middle ones like they suggested but had to go down a level to keep them comfortable in my ears. But there is several to choose from so almost anyone can find the right ones. They also come in two different colors but I choose black. The blue ones look really cool too!

Mosquito Repellent Patch

Mosquitoes! No one likes them. We know God had a purpose for everything but we question this tiny bug. So when the offer came to try this new little patch I jumped on it. I hate spraying down with bug spray just to go sit in the back yard. We go out for 30 minutes and our yard is so bad we buy spray in mass quantities.  I really was excited to try this one. 

The package came and it was small. I thought how in the world are these little things going to repel the crazy large mosquitoes we have around here! 

So the time has come to throw them on and brave the outside! 

The instructions tell you to put two patches on. One on the upper body and one of the lower part. They cover about a three foot range. I put jeans on, did I mention that I hate the mosquitoes here? My youngest put shorts on and away we went! 

I can say they worked well for me! Not one single bite while we were outside. Which was for about an hour to hour and half. My son....not so much....he was being bit on the legs....he did put spray on about 30 minutes into our backyard work. 

The next day my husband and I put them on again. Again, I did not get bit. And this time I was wearing leggings :) My husband on the other hand was getting bit...on the face OUCH. At first he only had one on.....no he didn't read the instructions...he is man ;).....he also didn't scratch the surface to activate the product like it mentioned....in the instructions lol So I had him put a second on but he continued to get bit so he put spray on too.  

So, in my opinion, they work...but not for everyone!

PUR Braided Lightning Cable for iPhones

LOVE it! Charging cables are a constant necessity in this house. Someone is always losing theirs. Kids come over and forgot theirs. Something. I was given this one at a discounted rate for my honest opinion. And I love it! The stronger braided cable is perfect for the car. Normal cables are always breaking when you have a house full of teenagers. It is the right length for the car so the passenger can help with navigation and answering text. Because we all know you do NOT text and drive :( 

Definitely recommend this cable for anyone needing an extra cord! #purcable

A Time to Transition

From the Women of Faith study guide series Balance:

A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted. - Ecclesiastes 3:2

"For some of us change is easy.  We love the excitement of trying something new, stepping out of our comfort zone, and experiencing a new activity.  Without something new, we tend to grow bored and disengaged.  But for other of us , change makes us uneasy.  We are more comfortable with the familiar and predictable.  When life is steady, we're able to not only come alive but thrive." 

Think about which one you are. Do you welcome change or run from it?  There was a quiz in this section....I was equal in two of the three catagories. But I do like change but not all change. 

No matter how you are with change, just remember that God is always with you. Pray and ask for guidance. Waiting on an answer is always the hard part.  "Whatever season you find yourself in, rest assured that God is with you and He longs to see you flourish and to bring you to an even more fruitful life in Him"

It's not quite swim suit season yet but it is never to early to start getting ready! I was able to pick which one I wanted to try for a discount and it was hard to pick! Different styles and patterns. I tried to pick something I thought would go with my new suit when I get it. Haha since I don't have my new suit that was a little harder. 

When it got here I was worried as it was in a very small package and was guessing that it was going to be very wrinkled. Nope. Folding nicely in there and came out perfectly. Now I could never get it back in the package (which was a very nice ziplock bag) but why would I want to!

The fabric is very soft and flowing. The lace at the bottom add the perfect amount of length on it as well.  When summer gets here, I will be headed out with this for sure. I will still need sunblock as the fabric is sheer but it will add the perfect amount of coverage to make me feel more confident on the lake! And I love that the tag is not at the neck line to show and itch. Washing instructions say to wash separately with dark colors. I am guilty of not looking at the washing instructions but with this type of fabric I really felt it was necessary.  It says to use cold water to wash, no bleach, you can use a cool iron if necessary...yeah that won't happen with me...and drip dry. Now I have to be honest....I didn't know all the symbols so I had to look them up here. 

Can't wait to head out in it...just have to wait on warmer weather!
