Necessary Endings

From the Women of Faith Study Guide Series Balance:

This section tells of Mary Slessor who moved to Western Africa to established a missionary in a very dangerous area. She left what she knew and was comfortable with in order to follow Christ. That is something that is not easy to do. Give up what you know. But sometimes necessary.

"We all have moments in our lives when we sense God calling us to leave something behind in order to lay hold of the something new God has for us."

Sometimes those things are harder than others. Why? Have you prayed and sought His answer? That is hard to do as well. Waiting until you hear what He has to say is so important though.

One of the questions, how willing are you to sacrifice for the sake of others? Are you? Have you?

God sacrificed something so precious we could never fully understand nor grasp what He did. But it is something we should all strive to do. Sacrifice for God. For others.

Review Time!

These are their imagines from the site:

These are mine:

Notice much difference? Me either! The bottle came just in time too. We love coffee. We don't love the fact that it gets cold to quickly.   My husband drives about an hour to work each morning. We had gotten some cups from a big box store...made to look like the paper cups you get from a coffee shop....yeah....they are thin and he said he couldn't go half way before his coffee was cold.

Got out the Liquid Savvy bottle, rinsed it and set it right next to the coffee pot for him :) When he got home you know I asked!

The coffee stayed hot all the way to work. AND when he got there, opened the flip lid to get a drink....got called away from his desk and didn't close the lid. I know you are thinking that was the end of his hot coffee.....nope! An hour later the coffee was still hot and enjoyed. Can't beat that for a testimony of the cup.  I am pretty sure I lost my cup too ;) #LiquidSavvy #hotcoffee

I did receive this bottle at a discounted price for my honest opinion.

Zigels Backpack for business or school

That is one of their pictures. And it really is accurate. Except the inside of mine isn't purple but black. Which is fine with me.  Back packs take some serious abuse in our house. 3 kids in school, all of which carry everything, everywhere, everyday. They don't use their lockers at all. So books, papers, clothes, and whatever else they can stuff in there!

The backpack seems very well made. Heavy duty fabric. And I love all the extra straps on it to help holds things where they are; I think that is going to help the durability of it as well. Less stress on the fabric itself.

My favorite feature thus far is on the bottom! There is two straps that go around the bottom to help with the heavy stuff! Aka my kids backpacks all the way around lol

We will be putting it to the test for sure! Get yours on Amazon

#schoolbackpack  I was given this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my 100% honest opinion!

New Beginnings

From Women of Faith: A Time For Everything

A time to be born. - Ecclesiastes 3:2

"God is in the business of making all things new.  Sometimes God uses the community that we're in to do something new to share the love of Christ with others.  Other times God wants to do something new within us.  Both can make us more Christlike."

Read 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Do you fee that God has called you to do something. Something new for you. A different direction for you to go in? Change can be hard and you may not feel that you are capable. But God will provide whatever you need to complete what He has asked you to do.

Do you have a special talent or idea? Something that can help others. Show others God's love? Don't hold back. God has given you that idea, put it in your heart to help others. Even if it helps one person, you have accomplished something great.

Review time!

#naturalbeauty

I was given an opportunity to review their face scrub for free! I am at that point where I realize I should have been taking better care of my skin. Everyone tells you to start early so you won't have to worry but like most I didn't listen.

I don't go out in the sun without sunblock....I burn like a lobster....so tanning was never an issue.  I don't wear a lot of make up either. But I am 40+ and the wrinkles are starting show.  Lots of squinting in the sun :( Even though I wear sunglasses almost all the time.

I don't have a favorite face scrub so I was glad to try it. It is jelly like.  Didn't expect that at all. I stirred up the jar with my fingers just in case there was any settling during shipment and then used what I had picked up. The directions say to use a small amount so I started with that after getting my face wet.

I scrubbed in circular motion like you are suppose to do.  My face started to burn a little :( My face is sensitive so I wasn't surprised really.  Washed it off with cold water and put on some face cream.

I wanted to try more than one time though. With sensitive skin you just never know...what if I was just having a day you know.....So I went ahead and used it several days in a row. I am happy that I did too!

My face is feeling smooth and I am getting into a better routine of taking care of my skin!

You can get some for you too! http://www.valentia.com/collections/all/products/eternal-youth
